Reception and Shop

Museum Gröbzig, a small regional museum in Saxony-Anhalt, underwent a comprehensive redesign. The interior concept for the reception area – the first and last space visitors experience – focuses on functionality and clarity. A generous, barrier-free counter serves as both ticket desk and workspace. A custom shelving system displays shop items while providing storage for coats and bags. Materials were kept deliberately simple: birch plywood, powder-coated black steel, and vibrant orange accents. Project completed at Studio Hartensteiner
