HfG on Tour

HfG on Tour was designed as a traveling installation to represent the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design at Frankfurt Book Fair. Instead of displaying information, the stand produced it: a small production line printed and bound notebooks live, using four CMYK printers, custom-built slides, and a binding machine. Covers were generated by an algorithm-driven V-plotter. Visitors left with a handmade object.
 The entire setup was designed to pack into Euro boxes, ready to be reassembled wherever needed. And when the stand eventually reaches the end of its life, every component — printers, ladders, slides — can be disassembled and reused, fully functional.
