An exhibition architecture for the 2019 summer Rundgang at HfG Karlsruhe, presenting student work from seminars, pre-diploma, and diploma projects. The premise was simple: don't buy, don't build from scratch. Through a collaboration with Elementa Betonfertigteile GmbH, a local manufacturer of prefabricated reinforced concrete elements, large concrete slabs were borrowed and rearranged into a temporary display structure. Leftover wood panels protected the floor of the atrium. After the exhibition, everything went back - the slabs returned to Elementa to be used in future buildings. A project that shows how sustainable thinking and design quality can go hand in hand.
